Award Winning Daylilies

Award Winning Daylilies

Stout Silver Medal

The Stout Silver Medal is the highest award a daylily can receive.  It is given in the memory of Dr. Arlow Burdette Stout, a former curator at The New York Botanical Gardens and one of the fathers of modern daylily breeding in North America .

The Stout Silver Medal is awarded  annually and is voted on by AHS Garden judges. Winners must have previously received Award of Merit and Honorable Mention honors to qualify.

A list of all the AHS Stout Silver Medal winners since 1950 can be found on the AHS website: daylilies.org/awards/stout-silver-metal/
